The Union government on Tuesday cancelled CBSE Class 12 examinations in the Country.
The Supreme Court on Monday (May 31) once again adjourned the plea filed for cancellation of Class 12 exams of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examination) and ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education). The hearing of the plea regarding the cancellation of Class 12 Board exams wasdeferred by the Supreme Court benchto Thursday (June 3).
The Supreme Court on Friday (May 28) adjourned the hearing on a plea pertaining to Class 12th Board exams of CBSE and ICSE. A plea has been filed in the apex court requesting the cancellation of the examinations.
The Supreme Court on Friday said it would hear on May 31 a plea seeking directions to cancel Class 12 examinations in the wake of the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.
The Centre will examine the suggestions received from the various state governments this week and convey further information in this regard to the students by or before June 1, the Education Ministry said.
