Soon after the cancellation of CBSE and ICSE Class-12 board exams, Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik urged CM Naveen Patnaik to cancel the Plus-II board exams under the State Board.
In the circumstances, cancelling the Class XII board exams was the only course available to the CBSE. CISCE immediately followed suit. And the Council of Higher Secondary Examination (CHSE) is likely to do the same in Odisha
In a major decision today, Class XII board exams conducted by the CBSE have been cancelled. The decision was taken after a review meeting chaired by PM Modi.
