Rayagada DFO Bijay Kumar Parida's properties at seven locations in Rayagada, Khordha, Cuttack and Jajpur districts were raided simultaneously on Thursday on charges of accumulation of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. 

Currently, the officials are carrying out simultaneous raids on the properties of DFO Bijay Kumar Parida at seven locations in four districts including Rayagada and Bhubaneswar in Khordha.

As per reports, nine panchayats will be covered by the Kanya Express in the first phase. This will be expanded further to all blocks in the future. The vehicle has pharmacists and other staff who will carry out many activities in villages including quiz contests.
