2 minor girls found dead at teacher’s residence

Keonjhar: Bodies of two minor girl students were found under mysterious circumstances from the residence of their teacher at Damahuda village under Patana police limits in Keonjhar district.

As per reports, 12 students of the Saraswati Sishu Mandir were staying at the residence of teacher, identified as Droupadi  Mohanty, and taking tuition.

While the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, the deceased duo, identified as Karisma Champia and Lina Champia of Gadkul and G Poshi village respectively, had reportedly fallen ill on Friday night.

Meanwhile, police have arrested Droupadi and the house owner.

“The dead bodies of the two minor girls have been sent for post mortem. We will carry out further investigation into the case as per the report, said a police official.
