The AI technology revolution started around 2022 when OpenAI introduced an AI chatbot called ChatGPT.

It became really popular online, and many people, as well as tech enthusiasts, started talking about AI.

People like Elon Musk worried that AI might take over jobs and pointed out potential problems with this new tech. Big tech companies thought AI could take away jobs, and even Elon Musk was concerned.

But a recent study by the United Nations' International Labour Organisation (ILO) says AI will change work but not necessarily eliminate jobs.

The ILO released a report called "Generative AI likely to augment rather than destroy jobs," which you can find on their official site https://www.ilo.org/. The 55-page report talks about their research.

The ILO thinks AI won't replace most jobs but might work together with them.

The ILO says that companies believe only some tasks can be done by AI, so it might add to human jobs instead of replacing them.

The ILO report talks about making sure jobs stay good as AI is used more.

In an Interview with The Atlantic, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, discussed AI.

He said AI will not just bring good stuff but also replace the jobs. He also said some folks believe AI will only aid humans and not snatch jobs.
