Oops! Circuit-Munna Bhai much-awaited reunion may not happen as Sanjay Dutt steps back from Welcome 3

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi introduced one of the most popular bro-pairs in Bollywood when they portrayed the roles of Munna Bhai and Circuit in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and its sequel. There has been a repeated demand for a threequel from this franchise and even makers have said that it will be possible if they get a script good enough for the third installment.

However, when both Sanjay and Arshad were roped in for Akshay Kumar - led Welcome 3 fans were ecstatic that their favourite pair was going to share the screen once again and they even expected the duo to cast the same magic similar to that in the Munna Bhai movies. However, the latest update says that Sanjay Dutt has now opted out of Welcome 3 because of date issues as well as creative differences.

Sanjay Dutt was supposed to play the role of Ahmed Khan in this Firoz Nadiadwala-produced hilarious comedy. According to Bollywood Hungama, “Sanjay Dutt has cited date issues for his exit. He has conveyed all the issues to his dear friend Akshay, who took the points into account and holds no bad blood. Sanjay Dutt felt that the Welcome To The Jungle shoot was happening in an unplanned way, with too many changes in the script, disturbing his diary of the shoot, and hence has parted ways.”

It should be noted that the Rocky actor has already completed 15 days of shooting for Welcome To The Jungle. The source has shared, “Sanjay Dutt has shot for some funny portions of Welcome To The Jungle in the first schedule and the makers are tempted to resume it and credit Sanjay Dutt for a guest appearance.”

Now the team is planning to come up with a whacky idea that will explain the disappearance of Sanjay Dutt’s character in the movie hilariously. If that happens fans may get to see Sanjay and Arshad sharing the screen for a short time but as of now, since the actor has backed out of the project there is no guarantee that the duo will be seen in Welcome 3 together.
