Ahead of the crucial last phase of simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha on June 1, top leaders of the BJP and the Congress will again visit the state to bolster the campaigns of their respective candidates. 

As per party sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on May 29 again and address three public meetings in Baripada, Balasore and Kendrapara.

BJP’s Odisha unit vice-president Golak Mohapatra informed that Modi will first address a public meeting at Chhau Padia in Baripada followed by Balasore and Kendrapara.

“PM Modi will first address a public meeting at Chhau Padia in Baripada at around 12 pm on May 29. The Prime Minister will address the second meeting in Balasore at around 1.30 pm and the third one in Kendrapara at around 3.30 pm.

Similarly, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to visit Odisha on May 29 and 30 respectively.

“Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will address a public meeting in Balasore at around 11.30 am on May 29. He will join a public rally in Bhadrak at around 3 pm. Rahul Gandhi will address a meeting in Simulia at around 11am on May 30,” said Congress in-charge for Odisha, Ajoy Kumar.
