Well, this article might just make you quit your job right away and take up driving lessons.

Yes, you read that right. A driver of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani used to earn around Rs 2 lakhs in 2017, which makes his annual salary Rs 24 lakh per annum. Doesn’t that sound crazy?

Just imagine the salary a driver of Ambani in 2023. While the exact amount is not clear now, but the math isn’t so complicated to understand that their salaries are way higher than what most engineering or management graduates earn.

So, it is clear that Mukesh Ambani’s driver earns more than many working in MNCs. The news was shared on Twitter by a social media user. He further suggested, ‘Why to waste time for IIT, IIM. Join Mohan Motors driving school and apply for driver of Ambani.’ (sic)

Well, these drivers are hired via a private contracting firm. All of them undergo training to drive luxurious vehicles. However, the salary is not just limited to drivers. Ambani’s cooks, guards and housekeeping staff also earn a lot of money.

Similarly, superstar Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera is reportedly earning around Rs 2 crores annually. He has been with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor for over 20 years now.
