  • Neel revealed that he was nervous before the release as for the first time he has liked his work.

Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire will be released in just two days. The hype for this Prabhas-led movie is very high. Even though Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki is all set to release just a day ahead on December 21, the anticipation for Salaar is on another level, especially in Hyderabad and other Southern cities.

While fans are highly excited, Salaar director Prashanth Neel seems with the fact that his film has been given an A certificate. Talking about the same during an interview with RRR director Rajamouli, Neel said, “I was very disappointed. I know that I have not made a vulgar movie or a movie that is insensible with violence. It is all necessary violence.”

However, he also clarified that the censor board did ask to cut certain scenes in the movie so that it could get a U/A certificate. But the KGF director decided against it as he thought those scenes were needed to justify the storyline of Salaar.

Prabhas On 'A' Certificate For Salaar

Prashanth Neel was stunned when the censor board asked for the changes and called Prabhas. The Tollywood superstar quickly said that they should go ahead with the 'A' certificate and not delete the scenes. During the interview, Prabhas said that the censor certification might be there but the story cannot be changed so we went ahead with an A certificate.

Revealing about how he is feeling just days ahead of the release of Salaar, Prashanth Neel gave a very surprising answer. He said, “All my previous movies I did not like after I watched them and hence was not nervous. But this time I have liked my movie and hence feeling very nervous.”

He said, “This time I have tried drama in which 2 to 3 people stand out and take the movie forward. And it is very difficult.” In reply, Rajamouli said, “Drama always works especially when Prabhas is in the movie.”

Apart from Prashanth Neel and Prabhas, another actor from Salaar, Prithviraj Sukumaran also participated in this discussion.
