Former India great and head coach Ravi Shastri always promotes youngsters. When he was the head coach of the Indian team, he was always looking for new faces that could help Indian cricket.

The former all-rounder always believes in youths’ power and has often spoken about talent. Shastri is probably the most followed voice in the commentary box. He has heaped massive praise on Dhruv Jurel, who finally got a chance to show his batting in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Dhruv, along with captain Sanju Samson, not only rescued Rajasthan Royals but also won the game by seven wickets against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Both Jurel and Samson added unbeaten 121 runs with RR winning in 19 overs while chasing 197.

Shastri was pleased with the performance of the 23-year-old.

“This Jurel is a Jewel for Indian cricket. Right now and going ahead into the future. Serious Dude,” he wrote on social media account X (earlier known as Twitter).
