Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MPs from Odisha on Wednesday urged Union Minister Piyush Goyal to direct FCI for lifting of surplus parboiled rice from Odisha during upcoming kharif marketing season (KMS) 2021-22.

Hundreds of pass-out MBBS graduates launched a protest at lower PMG Square in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday (Dec 8), alleging lack of government jobs for them in the state.

These are the visuals of a wild bear recently rescued at Tiliguda village of Malkangiri district in Odisha. The bear reportedly was rescued while it was trying to intrude into a house at the village. While trying to break into the house, the bear reportedly fell ill and was safely rescued by Forest Officials.
