Chaos erupted in Paradip when school students were refused a ride to school on the school bus on Thursday. The students and their parents held a protest after halting the bus for allegedly not carrying them to school for the last 2 months. As per reports, the bus services which were suspended due to the pandemic were activated two months ago, yet only a few students who had a bus pass were allowed to take the ride.
Demanding online mode of examination, the third-year students of Shailabala Women’s Autonomous college in Cuttack staged dharna in front of the college's main gate on Wednesday.
Rahul Gond, another student, said that the Headmaster encouraged students to pursue study earnestly and give their best. “He also ensured that we don’t let our studies hamper irrespective of the circumstances,” he said.
