Student unrest continues at Bhadrak Autonomous College over display of banners
Tensions continued at Bhadrak Autonomous College in Bhadrak on Tuesday as two student groups remained in conflict over the display of different banners at the college gate.
As per reports, the unrest began during the Ganesh Puja celebrations when one group displayed a banner at the college entrance with the title 'KILLER GROUP' written on it, which led to protests and the banner being removed.
Subsequently, the opposing student group put up another banner at the same location, this time displaying the title 'Bhadrak Autonomous College' in saffron color. However, this provoked further opposition from the rival group, resulting in heightened agitation and student unrest. Though the banner was removed, it was again displayed later, leading to further unrest.
