An Indian Army jawan travelling from Delhi to Odisha was found missing from Cuttack Railway Station on Tuesday under mysterious circumstances. The armyman has been identified as Tenzin Gaoba.

A missing complaint has been lodged by the Indian Army at the Cuttack GRP police station as the jawan has remained untraceable.

As per reports, a total of 150 jawans had boarded a train at New Delhi railway station to Cuttack. All of them were scheduled to undertake a training programme at Charibatia.  However, Tenzin was found missing at Cuttack railway station.

Indian Army officials tried their best to trace Tenzin and contact him but so far there has been no trace of his whereabouts. The detailed information and photos of the missing Jawan has also been provided to the police station.

The Army officials have also contacted the family members of Tenzin, but so far they have no information about him. Police have already started an investigation into the incident.

Police suspect that that either the jawan has fled or he has been abducted.

There are also chances that the jawan might have been a victim of an accident somewhere during his travel, said a police official.
