Twin City Police Commissioner, Saumendra Priyadarshi informed that a team of Jagatpur Police Station got input regarding the transportation of Ganja. Subsequently, the team intercepted a four-wheeler near the Indian Oil petrol pump at Jagatpur.
The accused stabbed the girl more than 20 times before repeatedly hitting her head with a heavy cement slab. The deceased has been identified as Shakshi.
Unfortunately, neither passers-by nor locals tried even to intervene or stop the accused from brutally killing the girl.
