Sahil, who brutally killed his girlfriend in the Shahbad Dairy area, was sent to two more days of police remand by Delhi's Rohini court on Thursday.

The cyber cops have also seized Rs 39 lakh in total from all of their bank accounts, 10 ATM cards, 5 passbooks, 7 cheque books, a laptop, four mobile phones and a SIM card from their possession.

Even as his parents tried to flee from the house to save their lives, the tipsy man managed to grab his father and dragged him back to the house where he hacked him to death.

The 20-year-old has revealed to the investigators that he committed the heinous act out of anger after Sakshi began ignoring him.

The accused Naveen Amantya had allegedly killed his mother for money in March 2022 at Darubandhasahi near Nabarangpur town to which, his son, Raja Amantya was an eye witness.

The assets were attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 for possessing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

Unidentified miscreants looted cash and gold ornaments from two houses located in Santoshi Vihar area late on Tuesday night. The series of theft came to light on Wednesday.

As per reports, Suna demanded Rs 300 each as bribe to prepare land maps from 11 persons. A middleman named Samadeb Banchhor, gave the total bribe of Rs 3300 to Suna for the job.

The accused, Sahil, who is also a resident of JJ Colony in the area, reportedly stabbed the girl more than 20 times and also hit her with a boulder.

Some villagers first spotted Bhaskar’s body hanging from a tree a few yards from his house and immediately informed his family members. 

As per reports, the accused, identified as Chandan Mahana had married Tanmayi last year. It was 20 days back the couple was blessed with a girl child.
