Narasinghpur: Elephant electrocutions in Odisha continue unabated with one more fresh case reported from Seramunda area here on Friday.
An elephant was electrocuted at Seramunda in Nuagada reserve forest, Athagarh DFO Arun Kumar Mishra said.
The elephant is expected to be aged between six to seven years, Mishra added.
It’s worthwhile to mention here that two female elephants were electrocuted at Unani village under Ambabhana block in Bargarh district on October 23.
The jumbos died on the spot after coming in contact with live electric wires which were laid by villagers for poaching boar.
