Bargarh: The district police have arrested three persons while trying to deposit nine fake currency notes of denomination Rs 2,000 at a bank located under Bargarh Town police limits.
The police have launched a probe to find out complicity of more persons in the fake currency case after arresting Manoj Sahu, Sudam Danasana and Aditya Bagh.
While Manoj was trying to deposit the nine fake currency notes of Rs 2,000 at the State Bank of India’s counter in Bargarh town, the bank staff informed the local police suspecting the notes to be counterfeit.

Raj Kishore Mishra, IIC, Bargarh Town police station, informed, “A case has been registered on basis of a written complaint filed by the branch manager of the State Bank of India, Bargarh branch.”
