The first weekend collection is the bellwether for which way a film is headed.
While some compared it to Thugs Of Hindostan (one of the most disastrous movies of the Indian film industry), Shamshera was also tagged as a big, bad and messy movie.
Though this is not the first time, Sanju has left his footprints with his stellar performances as a baddie. Be it Khal Nayak's Ballu or Agneepath's Kancha, Sanju Baba has won the hearts of the audience with his scary onscreen appearances and iconic performances.
For the first time ever in the history of the Hindi cine industry, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty will be collaborating for the movie touted as the father of all films.
RK talked about his dream of becoming a villain. While he remembered the iconic villains of the Hindi cine industry, he showered praises for Sanjay Dutt, with whom he will be locking horns in Shamshera.
After a gap of several years, biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, among others, are also prepping up with their movies to make a comeback.
Sanjay Dutt's look as Shuddh Singh from Shamshera has caught everyone's attention as he looks very much dangerous and overpowering as the lead antagonist.
The trend of celebrating Father's day has got a modern touch with the boom of technology and the craze of social media. However, is posting pictures on social media rather than doing it in reality enough to express love and honour for fathers?
Earlier during the trailer launch event of Bhoomi, Sanju baba was asked about part 3 of the Munna Bhai series. To this, Sanju asked the reporter to demand answers from filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who also was present at the event.
There might have been several others who went missing in the sequel or they might have been killed during the fight between Garuda's army and the labourers that broke out after Rocky slew Garuda. Probably, these could be revealed in Chapter 3.
The makers also missed out to give a powerful and musical entry to the antagonist Adheera aka Sanjay Dutt. While Rocking Star Yash got a tremendous entry with Toofan song, Adheera's entry was violent and terrifying.
Yash chuckled at such a remark and said, "Am I a hero!! In Chapter 1 they called me 'Villian', a kid had said in the movie." Further, he added, "Everybody is right in their own way, I think even in life, that's how we should look into it. So, there's a big clash and if I talk about it, it will be revealing about the film, so not going into that zone."
KGF 2 will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi. Thus, it will be quite easy for Yash to pull the audience to the theatres in large numbers. On the other hand, it is not yet clarified if Beast will release in Hindi or not. Some reports suggest that the makers are in talks to sell the Hindi remake rights. Therefore, under such circumstances, KGF 2 will have maximum access to the audience.
Meanwhile, recently, reports circulated that KGF helmer Prashanth Neel and Yash have decided to tone down the violence in KGF 2 to make it friendlier for young fans of the Rocking Star. However, Yash has quashed such rumours.
While the Three Dimension slate also includes series for streaming platforms, the films are all meant for theatrical release. "I believe in the big screen - I know it can never die down. "I know that OTT (streaming) is an important part of filmmaking today. But I know eventually theaters will open up and there will be some films only made for theaters," Dutt said.
