  • Sanjay Dutt's dangerous look as Shudh Singh from Shamshera has caught everyone's attention.
  • He looks quite menacing and threatening as the lead antagonist.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt’s Shamshera trailer is out. And while there are all sorts of discussions about the acting and epic entry of Ranbir as Shamshera, more interesting and debate-worthy is the character of Sanjay Dutt as Daroga Shuddh Singh. He looks deadly, cruel, and just right for that villainous streak to make him fearsome and intimidating as an antagonist.

Interestingly, his role as Adheera in KGF 2 released a few months ago was considered to be the deadliest among all. The movie got a very good opening because of Yash as Rockybhai and the trust of the audience in director Prashanth Neel. But right from the time, the first look of Adheera was revealed everyone was excited to see the tussle between Rocky and Adheera. And the sequel certainly fulfilled these expectations with many believing that Adheera is the most threatening character that will be ever played by Sanjay Dutt.

However, the look of Sanju baba from Shamshera gives goosebumps and proves that when it comes to experimentation and improvisation, Sanjay Dutt can always be trusted to go beyond expectations. Even the Kalank actor recently accepted that Shuddh Singh is one character that no one has ever seen on the big screen. He is not only menacing but untrustworthy and has the temperament and cruelty to go to any length to fulfill his aspirations.

Over the years, Sanjay Dutt has emerged as one of the most versatile actors of all time. Even today fans cannot forget how threatening and scary he looked as Kancha Cheena. Undoubtedly, Hrithik Roshan was excellent, but even then in many scenes in the movie, Sanjay’s antagonist looked more empowering than Hrithik’s Vijay Deenanath Chauhan. So, while Ranbir Kapoor as Shamshera is going to be spectacular, it’s the presence of Sanjay Dutt as an antagonist that is going to make this fight with Shamshera more interesting.
