A Plus-III second year student of Nimapara Autonomous College approached School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday seeking justice.
Five of them have been given the charge of two districts while the remaining will be in charge of one district each.
Alleging the involvement of the School and Mass Education Minister in the death of Dharmendra Sahoo, the leaders launched a verbal attack on the police, for they are dragging their feet in taking action against Minister Dash.
However, as the confusion still looms over why the students didn’t appear for the exams, a probe has been ordered to find out the reason, the Minister added.
Several students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Kaptipada of Mayurbhanj district reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 virus triggering fears. Prior to this, as many as 10 students of a government run girl’s school at Bolangir district had tested positive for COVID-19, while in Bhubaneswar two students of Capital High School and more than 10 teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 tested positive.
