The nine-day annual sojourn of Lord Jagannath and His siblings ends today as deities will return to their abode in all glory and grandeur. Catch glimpses of Bahuda Yatra from the pilgrim town Puri.
Around 225 special trains were arranged for Rath Yatra Festival against the previously announced 205 special trains.
The love and devotion for Lord Jagannath is not limited by geographical boundaries. Devotees & Prabasi Odias or the Odia diaspora across the globe take part in the Rath Yatra celebrations. It is believed that by getting a darshan of the deities during the day hours one gathers blessings but the same increases by ten times if the darshan is done during the Sandhya Dhupa ritual.
As Gundicha Yatra has already been over, special trains will run for Sandhya Darshan, Bahuda Yatra and Suna besha.
