Three newly-appointed judges of the Orissa High Court were administered the oath of office by Chief Justice S Muralidhar on Tuesday. The new judges include, Justices Mruganka Sekhar Sahoo, Radha Krishna Pattanaik and Sashikanta Mishra.
Jagdev appeared before the Khordha court on Friday and applied for bail. However, the lower court too rejected his plea. Following the rejection of the bail plea, Jagdev was taken into custody and later underwent a health examination before he was sent to jail.
