The state government has suspended the officials on the basis of a report submitted by the District Collector.

The Tehsildar forged documents of the land belonging to a daily wager, who is dead, and sold it to another person. Sources said, Bagh made a cow herder the seller of the land and executed the registration and the mutation process by using his digital signature.

SJTA verified the documents and declared those to be fake. The administration denied any approval of land transfer in favour of any person. Following that the SJTA on Monday filed a complaint with the Singhadwar police in connection with the matter, informed sources.
