Swargadwar land grab row: District admin summons 123 persons

Puri: The district administration has issued notices to 123 persons in connection with the Swargadwar (crematorium) land grab case.

The notices have been issued by Puri Collector and Tehsildar in the second phase of the Lord Jagannath's 'Amrutamanohi' land annex row.

The parties who are summoned include owners of three religious institutions and more than 20 hotels and lodges.

Notices have been issued over the 7.57 acre land annexed by various persons and institutions. The district administration will conduct hearing on the case on August 4 and 5.
