According to a notification issued by the Commerce and Transport department the deadline has been extended to February 2023.
In a letter, Commerce and Transport department Joint Secretary Kishore Chandra Das directed the State Transport Commissioner to find out how many old vehicles are there in the State and how many days it will take to affix HSRP in them.

The Odisha government had earlier extended the last date for affixing High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) from August 31 to September 30, 2022 in view of the flood situation in the state.
