Daringbadi in Kandhamal district witnessed biting cold conditions after mercury plummeted to 4 degree Celsius, throwing normal life out of gear.
From coastal to interior Odisha, the winter chill is being felt in most parts of the State, throwing normal life of people out of gear. The biting cold conditions are forcing people to remain indoors during the morning and evening hours.
Daringbadi in Kandhamal district recorded minimum (night) temperature of 7 degree Celsius which was the lowest in the State, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
The weather office predicted that dry weather will prevail over the districts of Odisha in the next few days.
