Farmers wait in long queues in Kalahandi for fertiliser amid shortage fears
Farmers were found standing in long queues, waiting for hours to get urea fertilizer in Kalahandi on Saturday.
As per reports, some of the farmers were seen standing in line since midnight. Such scenes were witnessed in front of government warehouses in Karlamunda and Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district for the past two days.
The situation arose after farmers learned that urea supplies had arrived at various society depots on Thursday. Reports suggest that due to the anticipation of receiving fertilizer, many farmers spent sleepless nights standing in queues.
