A high profile Maoist cadre was gunned down by a joint team of SOG (Special Operation Group) jawans and District Voluntary Force (DVF) during an exchange of fire with the ultras on Friday (June 11). Odisha DGP Abhay informed that the firing took place inside a reserve forest near Bhanjagunda in Padampur area of Bargarh.
