Bargarh: Man murdered with throat slit

Bargarh: An elderly man was found murdered with his throat slit at Khulapali village in Barapali this morning. The deceased has been identified as Bhagwan Meher.

According to sources, someone slit his throat with a sharp weapon while Bhagwan was sleeping outside his house on the verandah.

There are injury marks on Bhagwan’s head, informed sources.

As per preliminary investigations, a land dispute could be the reason behind the murder.

Meanwhile, Barapali IIC and SDPO have reached the spot and are conducting an investigation.
