Expensive mobiles seized in Bhubaneswar
Ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja, a mobile phone lootera gang was apprehended by the Commissionerate Police on Saturday.
As per sources, as many as three 'Pahadi Gangs' from Jharkhand, had come to Bhubaneswar with the intention of looting during the festive season.
As per reports, the Capital Police Station arrested as many as five robbers, including two juveniles. More than 60 expensive stolen mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

The Commissionerate Police successfully arrested the gang before they could carry out any major loots during the festive season.
"A team from the Capital Police Station have arrested as many as five robbers who had come from Jharkhand and were involved in mobile snatching incidents in Bhubaneswar. They are from Sahibganj district in Jharkhand, and they are known as 'Pahadi Gangs'. They are MD Jamal Shaikh, Shiv Kumar Mahato, Amarnath Mahato and two juveniles. They were smartly nabbed near the railway station when they were returning after completing their operation. While searching their bags, we found around 60 expensive mobiles in their possession," said Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena.
