As per reports, some servitors and devotees noticed dirty water coming out of the drinking water faucet at Ananda Bazaar last evening. The water was so dirty that its colour changed to red.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration is strictly ensuring that devotees get attired decently to have darshan of deities, as the rule of wearing decent clothes will be enforced from January 1, 2024.
The administration said they will be allowed to enter the centres and occupy their berths only after 9am on Saturday.
As per the Puri administration, 3050 habisyalis have registered to avail the scheme till now. Out of which 950 have registered from Khordha, 875 from Puri, 385 from Ganjam and 310 persons have registered from Nayagarh district.
The month is particularly important for the Habisyalis who observe Kartika Brata and worship Lord Jagannath in Radha Damodara Besha during the entire holy month of Kartik.
