Paralakhemundi is an ancient town and a Municipality in Gajapati district in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the district headquarters of Gajapati district. The town and the District share its boundaries with Andhra Pradesh. The king of Paralakhemundi Shri Krushna Chandra Gajapati Narayan Deo had the kingship of the majestic Gajapati rulers, who continued to be the supreme authority of Odisha for more than seven centuries. Also he was the first Prime Minister of Odisha.
According to sources, both Bidyabharati and Behera have filed separate petitions in the High Court challenging Paralakhemundi SDJM court’s order asking the duo along with cook Manmath Kumbha to appear before the court.
While hearing the petition filed by the deceased ACF’s father Abhiram Mohapatra, the court directed the trio to appear before the court. Their trial will be held pertaining to murder and criminal conspiracy charges against them.
