Abhiram Mohapatra, Soumya’s father, also demanded lie-detection test of the Paralakhemundi DFO, Soumya's wife and cook who are suspected to be behind the murder of the young forest officer.
Tulasi, Soumya's mother alleged that Bidya had an affair with another man near her village before marriage. She could be wanting to elope with him after mopping up my son's properties, She alleged.
Soumya's wife refuted the charges levelled by Soumya’s family members that the DFO was responsible for his death saying said that no departmental official had anything to do with the ‘shocking incident’.
