Odisha Sub-Ordinate SSC exam question paper goes viral
Bhubaneswar: After a series of incidents of matric question papers getting circulated on social media, similar reports have been received from Bolangir where question papers of Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission Examination-2017 for the posts of Junior Clerk went viral.
As per allegations, the question paper was circulated on social media during the computer practical examination held on March 4.
As per information, four sets of question papers were prepared for three centres at Government Polytechnic, Government ITI and Rajendra Autonomous College.
Surprisingly, the students alleged that all the question paper sets were exactly the same and as the paper went out after the first sitting, it was circulated among the students taking the subsequent sittings which gave them a big advantage.
“Since mobiles were not allowed into the examination hall, some candidates took pictures of the question paper and posted it on social media after coming out. We have also brought the matter to the notice of the higher authorities and demand that the test should be conducted again,” a candidate said.
However, the examination controllers at the centres said question paper leak is not possible since the examination papers are password protected and mobiles are not allowed.
The district administration instead of ordering a probe into the incident has asked the media to show sufficient proof.
Laxmikant Pyarelal Pradhan, the Additional Collector of Bolangir said “Media should give us proper evidence and accordingly we will carry out a probe.”
