Two killed in road accident

Kamakhyanagar: Two persons were killed in a road accident near Parjang under Kamakhyanagar sub division in Dhenkanal district late on Tuesday night.

Reports said a coal laden truck was on its way toward Pallahara from Talcher when it collided head-on with a speeding truck carrying plastic bottles from the opposite direction at Rangathali Chhak near Dadaraghati killing the drivers of both the trucks on the spot.

Following information, Parjang police rushed to the spot and took the bodies to the Pallhara hospital for post mortem.

However, the identity of the two bodies was not known till reports last came in.
