Jaguar skillfully hunts down crocodile, watch thrilling footage

Wildlife is filled with surprises. Domicile to a wide variety of animals, birds, and several other species, wildlife is quite thrilling for explorers. Exploring the wild can amplify knowledge and thrill at the same time. 

Carnivores hunting down herbivores in the wild are quite a common thing. However, it is rare to witness a carnivore preying on another carnivore. If you have ever explored the wild, have you ever witnessed a carnivore killing another cruel creature?

In the video, a huge crocodile can be seen resting on a  riverine island of a river. Meanwhile, another creature can be seen floating in the water and slowly approaching the crocodile from its behind.

As soon as the Jaguar arrives near the shore, it slowly but carefully walks towards the crocodile. Meanwhile, the alert reptile senses the incoming threat and starts rushing into the water. But, the jaguar overpowers the crocodile and grabs the reptile’s neck with its sharp jaws.

The big cat immediately turns towards the water to rush to the other side of the river while carrying the crocodile in its jaws.

The amazing footage is shared on Twitter by Belgesel Dünyası and has drawn the attention of massive users. Users have expressed shock at the incident as the big cat swiftly hunts down the water predator that is known to be a cruel hunter. While some suggested that it was a bad move for the big cat to drag the crocodile into the water, others have betted on the Jaguar.
