The word 'snake' is enough to stream fear among many. Be it venomous or non-venomous, the name is enough to evoke fear. However, most snakes are not aggressive towards humans and only attack when threatened or startled. But, at the first sight of any snake, any person will get alert and step back. How would you react if you came across a huge python measuring around 6-8 meters?

Here we bring a video of a huge python being trapped in a drainage line. The size of the reptile may leave you scared.

In the video, a trap can be seen hanging into the drainage line. Meanwhile, something can be seen crawling in the wastewater. A few moments later, the creepy snake crawls into the trap and moves back. As soon as it enters the trap again, the trap tightens and a huge python can be seen trapped in it.

As the huge snake gets trapped, it starts moving its entire body making high efforts to free itself from the trap. Meanwhile, the python is pulled up exposing its gigantic size.

The incident was reportedly captured in Indonesia, where reticulated pythons inhabit a variety of habitats, including tropical rainforests, woodlands, and grasslands. Moreover, they are also found near rivers and other water bodies. These are excellent swimmers and also can be found far out at sea. Though these are not considered threats to humans, they can be dangerous when provoked.

While the source of the video couldn't be verified, it is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nature Is Amazing. The video has so far been viewed over 840K times and garnered thousands of likes. Meanwhile, users expressed shock over the massive size of the python.
