After winning, the whole team carried legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on their shoulder. Indeed, it was an emotional as well as proud moment for every Indian and cricket lover.

Earlier, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and several others revealed that the team decided to do so as a tribute to the legendary. It was a gift for Sachin for his unmatched contribution to India's win, and his motivation and inspiration to other young sportsmen. Everyone knew that it was Sachin's last chance to win the World Cup and nothing could have been better than winning in his home ground.
