People love animals, but it is often quite rare to see them, especially outside of zoos or specific forest areas.

Recently, a remarkable and rare picture surfaced on the internet. It featured an Asiatic lion standing by the Arabian Sea in Gujarat's Junagadh. This incredible photo was shared on a platform called 'X' by the @CCFJunagadh.

In the undated picture that quickly went viral, the lion was casually standing near the Arabian Sea, appearing to enjoy the sea waves.

The Chief Conservator of Forests in Junagadh shared the photo on Twitter, mentioning that the lion was spotted in the Darya Kantha area during a Bhadrawa Poonam patrol.

Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan also shared this mesmerising image, likening it to Narnia coming to life. He mentioned that the lion looked like a king enjoying the tides of the Arabian Sea along the Gujarat coast.

On the same platform 'X,' there was a thread discussing a scientific report titled "Living on the sea-coast: ranging and habitat distribution of Asiatic lions."

The caption encouraged interested people to read this paper, which provided insights into the habitat of Asiatic lions. The report was authored by Mohan Ram and others and was published in the journal Nature. The pictures quickly went viral on social media, and animal enthusiasts were captivated by the image.

One user commented with "Beach vacation 🏖️," another praised it as "Stunning! Nature's magic in Narnia.

Lion King's seaside serenity on Gujarat's coast. Thanks to CCF, Junagadh, for this beauty! 🦁," while another thought it was a screenshot from a Narnia movie.

Another user humorously suggested that the lion must have come to enjoy the sea water and air during the summer."
