Tollywood actor Rana Dagubatti won the hearts of moviegoers with his powerful performance in the Baahubali series. He also garnered high appreciation for his stellar performances in several other movies including Bollywood flicks. Currently, the actor is gearing up for his next Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth and is super excited for the project. Moreover, the inclusion of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie has raised excitement among all.
During a recent interaction with Vamshi Kurapati on a Podcast, Rana shared insights about the movie. He described the story as 'unusual.' Praising the well-researched narrative of Vettaiyan, Rana said, "The story is very unlike a usual Rajinikanth garu film. It is amazing that he is doing a film like that. The film has a very large cast, Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and Fahadh Faasil. It’s a drama that involves the judiciary, police, and entrepreneurial systems. It’s a very well-researched story. I am very happy that Rajinikanth chose the film and I could be a part of it."
Further, he also lauded Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD and Nag Ashwin. He also highlighted the movie's universal appeal.
"The next big moment is Kalki. Nag Ashwin is a very dear friend. Not just India and the Indian diaspora but everyone in the world will connect to Kalki," he said.
Further, he added, "For a long time, I have been waiting for an Avengers moment from our side. That’s what has excited me to be part of it."
Notably, Rana Daggubati teamed up with Prabhas in the Baahubali series that scripted several new records in the history of Indian cinema. Inclusion of Rana in Kalki 2898 AD could have further added to the excitement of moviegoers.
