Indian weddings are all about various rituals, celebrations, dance, music, fashion and food. Some weddings are conducted in quite a simple way in the presence of family members and close friends. However, some people prefer a grand wedding to show off their stature either or to make others envious.

In this age of social media, wedding videos pop up every other day. While some are quite funny, others can be emotional. However, a few videos are worth remembering. Recently, a video surfaced on social media that shows a groom flaunting his 'noto ki mala' (Garland made from currency notes). Though putting on such garlands is nothing new, its length and value will leave you shocked.

The video shows the groom standing on the terrace of a single-storey building. The special garland can be seen from the groom's neck to the ground. As the camera pans closer to the garland, Rs 500 currency notes are clearly visible.

As claimed, the garland had currency notes amounting Rs 20 lakh. Though the authenticity of the currency notes and the claimed value couldn't be verified, it has left netizens in shock and also tickled their funny bones.

One user commented, "Dahej ke pure paisa ka mala banwa liya h lagta h (it seems he made the garland from the money he received in dowry)." (sic)

Another user wrote, "Arey bhai 20 lakh ki mala pehene se acha tha apne ghar ki chhat marammat karwa deta (instead of wearing a garland of 20 lakh, you could have repaired the roof of your house). (sic)

"Jayega kaise gale mein itna lamba sanp dalkar sasural (how can he go to his in-laws house with such a long snake (garland) in his neck)," wrote a third user.

While the source of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on Instagram by prachi_varma143. By now, the video has amassed over 337K likes. Moreover, the comments section is flooded with hilarious notes trolling the groom
