'Desh ki har Maa ki pasand' Indian broomstick with 'nutrition facts'! Viral post makes Internet go ROFL
Traditional broomsticks have been closely associated with Indian mothers, not just for sweeping or cleaning the floors, but for disciplining their children. Broomsticks commonly referred to as Jhaadu, have been used by Indian parents for generations to discipline their mischievous kids. There could be rarely any common Indian who escaped from getting hit with the 'common weapon' of Indian moms. These broomsticks are made from natural fibres like coconut coir, jute, or siali leaves. However, have you ever come across any broomstick with 'Nutrition Facts'?
Well, recently, a social media post has gone viral making the internet go rolling on the floors, laughing.
The post shows a bunch of traditional Indian broomsticks with 'Nutrition Facts'. In the images, the packaging on the broomsticks features the 'nutritional value' of the broomsticks, in detail.
The label on the packaging reads, Nutrition Facts, 15 servings per container. Amount per serving calories: 150." (sic)
Further, the nutrition value chart describes, Total Fat 10g: 13%, Cholesterol 0mg: 0%, Sodium 160mg: 7%, Total Carbohydrate 16g: 6% and Protein 1g." (sic)
The label also has a list of ingredients written on it such as canola oil, salt, a trace of lime (calcium hydroxide), and yellow stone ground corn.
Well, as it seems, the packaging is of a food product. However, the post has left netizens shocked and tickled their funny bones.
