Once homeless, a woman is now a multimillionaire after she won a whopping $5 million lottery. She did not even have a house to live in six years ago, but today she is a multimillionaire.
The lucky woman has been identified as Lucia Forseth of Sacramento, USA. The California Lottery released a press release that read, “Fast forward to now, and Forseth is among California’s newest multimillionaires thanks to a lucky Scratchers ticket.”
According to sources, Lucia had been to Walmart Supercenter in Pittsburgh where she bought the fortunate lottery ticket. She came out of the store and was adjusting the oil in her car when she scratched her winning ticket.
“I only bought one ticket; I closed my eyes and picked that one, and it won! I first thought I’d win a free ticket, but I checked, and it said I won $5 million,” said an excited Lucia as she expressed her shock and gratitude.
As per a report on NDTV, she was homeless and is getting married this year.
“Six years ago, I was homeless. This year I am getting married, getting my associate degree and just won $5 million. You never think you have a chance to win it. It is just random. I never thought this moment would ever come in the life of someone like me,” she added.
