‘New rules in IPL 2024’- This viral video is more than hilarious, watch

BCCI has brought several weird changes for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Though teams have adjusted with the new rules with a trial and error approach, several players and fans are yet to accept some of those rules fully.

Some of the experts, fans and formers players have also criticised the rules severely. The puritans of the game are particularly severe on those changes. As per them, those frequent and illogical changes have taken the sheen out of the gentleman’s game.

The puritans are mostly severe on the impact player rule. As per their observation, while it has suited some particular teams, balance of some other teams has also been disturbed by it. 

Moreover, they are also of the opinion that so much of review has diminished the value of the umpires on the ground. Too much dependence on the TV umpires is just stretching the game too much and killing time. It’s also boring for the audience.

BCCI has drawn a lot of flak for the frequent changes in IPL rules. The frequent chopping and changing of rules have sparked a meme fest on internet.

In the video, a batsman is seen stroking a bouncer gently. Then he is found exchanging his bat by pushing it on the ground towards his partner in the non-striker end. The other batsman standing in the opposite end is also following the same process. Without running a single step, they completed three runs in the process. After collecting the ball, the bowler looks perplexed with the strange act of both the batsmen. 

Certainly, this video’s suggestion of the new rule in IPL 2024 is more than just hilarious!!!
