Promising Rajasthan Royals batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has impressed everyone with his scintillating batting in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

Several fans and experts across the globe have heaped praise on Jaiswal for his incredible talent. Former South Africa skipper Graeme Smith, who is now an IPL expert, has recently joined the bandwagon. As per Graeme, Jaiswal has managed to improve himself immensely from the previous season.

Graeme has been closely following the 21-year-old’s short career through his domestic and IPL stints. The former aggressive South African batter pointed out that Yashasvi has transformed himself into a dynamic batter.

“Jaiswal has been incredible. You can see a growth in his game from the last season of IPL. I just love to watch him play. He has just got a natural ability to find the gap. He has got stroke play, particularly on the off side. Now, he has developed strength on the leg side as well which has made him dynamic,” said Graeme during an interview.

The former South Africa skipper also said that Jaiswal is knocking at the door of the Indian team and his selection is just around the corner.

“In terms of selection, Jaiswal is certainly knocking down the door. Indian cricket is blessed with a lot of options like senior cricketers Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. You also have Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill in the fray. The selectors surely have some nice headaches to have. However, Jaiswal has certainly put his name right up there in the conversation,” Graeme added.
