The very talented and technically gifted left-handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal was on an absolute rampage for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last night. The U-19 star achieved a historic feat on Thursday and slammed the fastest-ever half-century in the history of IPL.

The 21-year-old hit half-century in just 13 balls to break the record of KL Rahul and Pat Cummins who had scored it in 14 balls. The opener batsman struck 26 runs, with three fours and two sixes, in the very first over by KKR captain Nitish Rana.

Jaiswal’s batting has been receiving applauds from all quarters with cricket lovers going gaga over his exceptional talent. Even star batsman Virat Kohli was so impressed with Jaiswal that he took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “Wow, this is some of the best batting I have seen in a while. What a talent Yashasvi Jaiswal.”

Even former opener Virender Sehwag wrote, “This kid is special. Thoroughly enjoyed his clean striking.” He is indeed the next big thing in the cricket world.

Jaiswal got emotional after the match-winning knocks and said that his dream is to play at 3 in ODI for India.
“I want to play at 3 in ODI World Cup which is happening in India. This is my dream, I hope Rohit Bhaiya considers me,” said an emotional Jaiswal.

“It was a nice feeling today. It is not like everything I wanted happens, I prepare well and I trust in myself. I know the results will come. The winning shot was a great feeling, I wanted to finish the game, and winning the game has been my motto,” he added.
