BJP’s National Vice President, Baijayant Panda, who won the Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat, took out a massive victory rally in his constituency to pay his gratitude to the electorate.

While taking out the rally from Duhuria in Kendrapara, Baijayant Panda said, “The people who mistook the simplicity of Odias as their weakness got right lessons. The government that was being run in the state had approached its expiry date. From now on, a new double-engine government will drive the growth of Odisha at double speed.”

Baijayant Panda, who trounced his nearest rival, BJD’s Anshuman Mohanty by a margin of over 66000 votes, said,

“Kendrapara and Odisha wanted to be part of the ongoing development under the leadership of Narendra Modi. I thank the people of Kendrapara and Odisha for their strong resolve to save Odia Asmita, ensure development and protect the Swabhiman of 4.5 crore people. Odias are courageous and have made a strong decision. Odisha will go far ahead."   

The BJP stalwart held the massive Vijay Sobhayatra (victory procession) to express his gratitude to the people in Kendrapara.

Thousands of party workers and supporters from seven Assembly constituencies joined the procession. The procession started from the BJP office at Duhuria and covered 20 kms before culminating at the Baldevjew temple in Ichhapur, where the BJP leader had the darshan of Lord Siddha Baldevjew.
