Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat, Aparajita Sarangi targeted Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday again, saying, "The Chief Minister could not furnish evidence on the allegations brought against me over developmental works in Bhubaneswar.”

Addressing a presser in Bhubaneswar, Sarangi said, “Two days ago, the Chief Minister in a video message pointed an accusing finger at me regarding the works done in the last five years in Bhubaneswar. He claimed that I had opposed the bylaw of Lord Lingaraj and the development works of the temple.”

“It is sad to see that his coterie forced him to tell lies against me. He was handed out a script and he read out. He did not understand what he was saying. I appealed to him to produce evidence in 48 hours against me if I had opposed the Lingaraj bylaw and the temple’s development works. But the Chief Minister could not do so.”
