Though feeling sad for Biju Patnaik’s birthplace lying in neglect, the villagers didn’t forget to observe his birthday on Sunday.

"Why a mother is not stressed while taking care of her child and stressed while taking care of her mother-in-law. The fact is, if you do something willingly and joyfully, there will be no stress at all," he said. 

Speaking at the annual convention of OTV Foresight 2023 in Odisha capital on Saturday, Agnihotri took a dig at trolls stating that it only meant to silence who are on social media.

When Agnihotri was asked about his obsession with the term ‘files’, his wife Pallavi Joshi was quick to reply revealing that his (Agnihotri’s) father was a government employee and that is why he is obsessed with the term.

"The average time to detect cancer is two years. But when it comes to depression, a person takes ten years to find out that s/he is suffering from depression," says Dr Nimrat Singh.

“There are Muslims in India who know a lot about Hinduism. It works in both ways. We interact so much with each other. The producer of The Kashmir Files is a Muslim, even the child who played little Krishna in the movie is a Muslim,”

Dr Rajesh Chandra Mishra, a leader in the field of Critical Care medicine in India and SAARC nations, said everything can't be left for the government to do to tackle the problem of mental health.

Speaking at OTV Foresight 2023, Joshi said, “I would be lying if I said no. As the society stands today, we knew we will be attracting backlash if we make the movie because we were not trying to appease anyone with this film.

The National Award-winning filmmaker further said, “If there is anybody who wants to make films in Odia, they can contact me. I will help them in whatever way possible. We want our films to go everywhere.

Speaking on the occasion Asit Mohanty maintained that sadly there is no such provision to preserve and protect ‘our age-old language and if this continues our future generations will be cut-out from our glorious past, history and tradition’.

Answering a question about Odisha and its food, Malik said, “Though I loved prawns of Odisha, now that I have become a vegetarian, Dalma has become the favorite food for me.”

Guha advised, "A consumer would not know what is inside a capsule or a tablet, but they can very well protect their interests by looking out for a particular mark, a QR code, a hologram or similar things on the package”.

Addressing the gathering, Sinha said, “I have travelled the parts of western Odisha when I was a student and worked with many of them (women). These women are exceptional; they have no degree, and no exposure either. In spite of that, they have inspired me to a great extent.”
